Ongoing Partnerships

Appalachian Service Project (ASP):   ASP is committed to making homes, warmer, safer and drier for our brothers and sisters in Appalachia.  As ASP Founder, Tex Evans, used to say, "This is a relational ministry with a hammer thrown in."  These trips provide and oppourtunity for you to spend time with the families you are serving with as well as work hard to make their homes warmer, safer and drier.  There are generally four to five adult trips a year.  For current dates and/or questions, contact Rosemary and Bill Pate at rosemaryandbill@gmail.com.

Chile: Since 2008, CTK has partnered with the Lutheran Church in Chile (IELCH).  We have traveled to Chile each year participating in relationship ministry in refugee camps and schools.  Contact Mark Dowell at mark.dowell@sas.com if you are interested in traveling with the next team.  You can see pictures from the previous trips on the Chile Wall in the Narthex.
