High School Youth Group

This active group is for those in 9th through 12th grades. The High School Youth Group provides an amazing opportunity for the youth to stay plugged in to church and connected to their faith community. Youth group evenings include games, worship, team building and devotions. We have several lock-ins during the school year, as well as opportunities to serve God in the community. Youth are also invited to attend numerous retreats and trips through the year. Financial assistance is available for events.

All youth must have a consent form (PDF) on file to participate in activities. If you have questions, please contact our Youth Groups Coordinator, Corrine Madsen, at youth@ChristTheKingCary.org.

High School Youth Group meets the first 3 Sundays of each month from September through April, plus a Kick-Off in late August, and our End of Year Celebration in early May. High school students will need to check in the Nagle Hall narthex. Our High School youth are dismissed by the courtyard at 8pm.

We meet from 6:30-8pm.  Note:  Beginning in February 2012, we will no longer have our pre-Youth Group fellowship meals.  Although it created a time for our youth to enjoy fellowship before youth group, the participation wasn't enough to continue.  Also, in Spring, participation typically drops as schedules fill with 'end of school year' activiities. We suggest that you either enjoy Sunday dinner together as a family or use the time to finish homework!
