Outreach - Growing greater in love for the world

Truly I tell you, just as you did it to one of the least of these who are members of my family,
you did it to me. – Matthew 25:40

Get Involved With OutreachOne of the most well-known verses of Scripture is the famous John 3:16, which describes God’s love for the world. Christ the King works hard to live out this verse, recognizing that God loves all of creation and sends the Son into the world that all the created order might be redeemed.

We are committed to finding as many chances as we can to share God with and minister to the world outside our community. In our outreach we pray that we will have eyes to see our Lord in the many neighbors we encounter.

Endowment Committee: Unlike many other church endowments, CTK’s Endowment is focused on mission beyond our walls. Earnings from the fund may be distributed annually and can be used to help new Lutheran churches, meet community needs in Wake County, aid global ministries, and provide financial assistance for students at Lutheran colleges or seminaries. Recent recipients include USO-Raleigh, PLM-Families Together, Women of the ELCA Katie’s Fund and Backpack Buddies.  For more information on the fund or to apply for a disbursement, check out the Endowment page.
