Prayer Ministries

Do not worry about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding,

Prayer Ministry We are a relational people, and prayer is one of the means by which we are able to relate directly with God. Prayer is talking with and listening to God. It is also our privilege as Lutherans and as part of the priesthood of all believers to care for one another by praying for each other. Prayer shawls are also available. These special shawls are handmade by the Knit Wits to provide comfort and a physical reminder of God’s presence and love in difficult times. To request a prayer shawl or learn more, email knitwits@christthekingcary.org.
