Stewardship Committee

The Stewardship committee teaches the Christian use of time, talents, and money, publicizes the congregation's local, national, and world-wide ministries, ensures annual pledge program is run, tracks critical skills of talents within the congregation and issues envelopes for contributions.

Charter

This committee shall evoke and promote the expression of Christian faith in daily living through:

1. teaching the Christian use of money, talent and treasures;
2. imparting knowledge of the congregation's local, national and world-wide ministries;
3. providing for the annual Every Member Visitation, endeavoring to enlist the support of all members, secure pledges for contributions and encourage regular and proportionate giving;
4. leading all of the congregation members to higher levels of giving for the Lord's work;
5. issuing offering envelopes to confirmed members of the congregation by the beginning of the calendar year; and
6. overseeing the preparation and maintenance of an accurate, up-to-date list of congregation members indicating the skills, experiences and resources of the individual members in order to provide them with opportunities for ministry in the congregation.
