Finding Your Place

Learning, Living, Telling BannerChrist the King is an exciting and vibrant congregation. We are committed to connecting people with God and with the people of God – committed to learning, living and telling the story of God’s grace. We hope that all members of our community will grow nearer to God through worship, deeper in relationship with Jesus through faith formation, closer to each other through congregational life and greater in love for the world through outreach.

The world is full of stories: explanations, theories, rumors that shape our very hearts and then our lives. Maybe you’re wondering what story is shaping your life.

Christ the King has a story at its heart, too. We are a group of people of all ages from all kinds of places who have been found by a gracious God. We’re not perfect, but we experience the joy of knowing a God who promises to never let us go.

Together, we are finding that our stories are connected to that joy. Together, we are learning, living and telling the story of God’s grace. We hope to see you soon – and hear the story of God at work in you!

At Christ the King, we believe that all of God’s people are called and gifted to serve. We are not called to merely be warm bodies or fill an obligation, but to join God’s redeeming and creative work in the world. Each person is a gift, and we want to see all people use their unique gifts and skills for the glory of God! Here are several questions to prayerfully consider when getting involved:

  • What am I passionate about?
  • What activities give me joy?
  • What have others told me I am good at?
