CTKECC begins school in September, the Tuesday following Labor Day and continues through the last full week of May. In most cases of vacations, workdays, and holidays, we follow Wake County‘s Traditional School calendar. (Opens in a new window.)

Delayed Openings

If Wake County Schools open one hour late, CTKECC will open as usual.

If Wake County Schools open two hours late, CTKECC will be closed. CTKECC reserves the right to close whenever we feel it is in the best interest of our staff and students.

Closings

If Wake County Schools are closed, CTKECC will also be closed.

Days missed due to inclement weather will be made up within our September to May calendar, as determined by the CTKECC board.
